Neighbourhood Policing is at the heart of our approach to keeping South Wales safe. Your local team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in this area who are both visible and accessible.
We work closely with residents, community leaders, the local authority and other partners to understand and respond to community concerns. By working together and focussing on early intervention, prevention and problem solving we can find long-term solutions to local problems.

We will continue to patrol the locations of note and look to get positive identifications of those involved with drug dealing and the use of drugs in the community. We will also take action against those who are allowing their properties to be used for drug users/dealers. We will use the powers we have and work along with partners. Liaise with colleague in the council who deals with empty buildings, find out who currently owns the building, target hardening with Paul Evans Community Safety Co-ordinator for Swansea council and CRTA, high visibility patrols. Identify any cctv or other opportunities to ID the youths and conduct parental visits. SWL messaging. Actioned 17 June 2025 |
ASB – DFS/ Morriston Library Issued 17 June 2025 |
Establish if the same youths are involved by collating cctv, try to identify those involved, conduct parental visits and submit ASB referrals. Identify if there is a pattern to when the youths are going to these locations, put up ASB posters at both locations and hold ASB engagement tables, SWL messaging to keep residents informed about what we are doing, speak with Mark Thomas from CRTA to do a joint visit and discuss target hardening.
