Neighbourhood policing is at the heart of our approach to keeping South Wales safe. Our PCSOs and officers are proud to be integral parts of the communities they serve.
We want to ensure our neighbourhood policing is as efficient and effective as it can be, and our aim is to be the best in the country at understanding and responding to the needs and priorities of each individual community. Your local neighbourhood policing team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area who are both visible and accessible.
Fundamental to our model of neighbourhood policing is engaging with our communities: connecting with individuals, organisations, businesses, schools, workplaces and others; working to understand, respond to, and tackle your concerns and priorities; and putting measures in place to prevent issues from escalating – or from occurring in the first place.
By working together and focusing on early intervention, prevention and problem solving, we can find long-term solutions to local problems.

Working in conjunction with the fire service, ambulance service and local authority an day of awareness was recently held and residents were visited and informed of the issue. Regular patrols are being made along with local authority parking attendants and any offences dealt with, further awareness sessions to be conducted. Actioned 17 June 2025 |

We have been conducting speed scoping checks and offenders are spoken to if identified. The Go Safe department regularly attend the area and our colleagues from the Roads Policing Unit regularly patrol the area. Ongoing speed scoping continues in the area. Actioned 17 June 2025 |
