Neighbourhood policing is at the heart of our approach to keeping South Wales safe. Our PCSOs and officers are proud to be integral parts of the communities they serve.
We want to ensure our neighbourhood policing is as efficient and effective as it can be, and our aim is to be the best in the country at understanding and responding to the needs and priorities of each individual community. Your local neighbourhood policing team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area who are both visible and accessible.
Fundamental to our model of neighbourhood policing is engaging with our communities: connecting with individuals, organisations, businesses, schools, workplaces and others; working to understand, respond to, and tackle your concerns and priorities; and putting measures in place to prevent issues from escalating – or from occurring in the first place.
By working together and focusing on early intervention, prevention and problem solving, we can find long-term solutions to local problems.
Please note that to report a crime or incident to South Wales Police, you can visit Home | South Wales Police or in an emergency, please dial 999.

Antisocial behaviour - Cwmbwrla Park Issued 17 June 2025 |
A problem-solving plan has been put into place after reports of persons congregating there in the evenings, alcohol being consumed and off-road motorcycle / ebikes being seen. In regard to off road motorcycles and e-bikes, this is a problem that is being looked at as a collective for the Swansea area. Locally we are identifying those involved, taking action whilst also looking to educate parents on where these types of vehicles can be used legally and safely. Several seizures of these bikes have taken place, and an operation is planned to target those who will actively evade police. Cwmbwrla Park will continue to see frequent and targeted patrols to look to impact on the issues it is facing. We will continue to work with our partners problem solving to eradicate these issues.
