Y Cocyd - Cockett
Neighbourhood policing is at the heart of our approach to keeping South Wales safe. Our PCSOs and officers are proud to be integral parts of the communities they serve.
We want to ensure our neighbourhood policing is as efficient and effective as it can be, and our aim is to be the best in the country at understanding and responding to the needs and priorities of each individual community. Your local neighbourhood policing team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area who are both visible and accessible.
Fundamental to our model of neighbourhood policing is engaging with our communities: connecting with individuals, organisations, businesses, schools, workplaces and others; working to understand, respond to, and tackle your concerns and priorities; and putting measures in place to prevent issues from escalating – or from occurring in the first place.
By working together and focusing on early intervention, prevention and problem solving, we can find long-term solutions to local problems.
Please note that to report a crime or incident to South Wales Police, you can visit Home | South Wales Police or in an emergency, please dial 999.

We have frequent conversations with a liaison officer from the facility and when issues are identified we quick to respond. PCSO David Lockett conducts frequent patrols of the area during his day to day activities and we are pleased to say we have not had this issue raised to ourselves in some time.
