Neighbourhood Policing is at the heart of our approach to keeping South Wales safe. Your local team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in this area who are both visible and accessible.
We work closely with residents, community leaders, the local authority and other partners to understand and respond to community concerns. By working together and focussing on early intervention, prevention and problem solving we can find long-term solutions to local problems.

Regular ‘car meets’ are taking place within Kenfig Industrial Estate. These vehicles are driving dangerously, and parking up in large numbers revving their engines and being disruptive to the local community Issued 24 June 2025 |
We will regularly patrol the area in conjunction with our Roads Policing Unit. Any persons believed to be driving in an anti-social manner with be dealt with robustly, using Section 59, Police Reform Act 2002, which gives Police the power to seize vehicles in certain circumstances. These patrols will be conducted at key times and officers will liaise closely with local businesses and residents to provide reassurance and a highly visible presence to help deter drivers from congregating in the area.
