Neighbourhood Policing is at the heart of our approach to keeping South Wales safe. Your local team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in this area who are both visible and accessible.
We work closely with residents, community leaders, the local authority and other partners to understand and respond to community concerns. By working together and focussing on early intervention, prevention and problem solving we can find long-term solutions to local problems.

Using intelligence by yourselves we are implementing plans to launch an operation using resources available to us, these will include traffic officers & the use of the SWP drone etc, in an effort to address this problem. High visibility reassurance patrols will also be conducted at these locations. Actioned 17 June 2025 |

Patrols to be carried out at the location to address these concerns. NPT will utilise local youth agencies with a view to engage with any youths found to be causing issues and point them in the direction of services who along with ourselves could provide positive redirection for these youths. The local community have reported parking issues at St Joseph’s Primary School. Issued 17 June 2025 |
We will continue to patrol the area and take action against those vehicles causing obstructions. We will work with the school to address this problem. We will suitably advise drivers & issue parking warning notices. We will liaise with partner agencies regarding offences committed that don’t fall under the remit of the Police.
