Several reports of off-road bikes travelling up Old Road, through the new Clos Castan estate & Meadow Road. These off-road bikes are also travelling via the numerous small side streets of the Melin & are even travelling dangerously driving the wrong direction down one way system streets. Issued 17 June 2025 |
NPT will conduct high visibility patrols at the concerned locations & will issue fixed penalty notices to any persons caught causing issues driving off road bikes. Repeat identified offenders will then have their bikes seized with the assistance of the local NBM. NPT will encourage the local community to make reports of all the off-road bikes issue in the area to collate this demand to request the further required assistance & support from the SWP off-road bikes team. Local residents have reported their concerns for several dogs in the Melin area who they are concerned are a danger to the public. Issued 17 June 2025 |
NPT are attending these concerned addresses & are suitably advising the dog owners accordingly with the help of our dog handlers & the RSPCA. Actioned 17 June 2025 |
