St Catherine's Church remembers the victims of the Aberfan Disaster

St Catherine's Church held a service today to remember the 60th anniversary of the Aberfan Disaster. Charlotte, the Vicar, arranged for a stone to be decorated for each life lost in the disaster. The congregation took it in turns reading out the name and age of each victim before placing a stone in the memorial garden. PCSO Nina Gardner and Community Warden Paul Morris attended the service on behalf of the local Neighbourhood Policing Team and RCT Community Wardens.
