Op Atal - Speed Enforcement Operation

Op Atal - Speed Enforcement Operation

Morning Residents,

Yesterday morning, I carried out Operation Atal on Bryn Road, Tondu, alongside colleagues from the Fire Service and Roads Policing Unit in response to concerns about speeding.

During the operation:

✅ 30 vehicles were stopped for exceeding the speed limit

✅ 2 Traffic Offence Reports were issued for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance.

✅ 1 vehicle was seized

Road safety remains a priority, and I will continue to conduct enforcement and engagement activity across my communities to address concerns raised by residents.

Thank you to everyone that continues to report issues and support our efforts to make out roads safer.

Kind regards,

PCSO Lauren Thomas
