Ongoing vehicle crime

There has been an increase of theft from motor vehicle in the Splott and Tremorfa area. 

Local Neighbourhood team are aware with increased high-vis patrols, plain clothed officers, cctv work to identify the persons responsible. 

It has been noted that some vehicles are not being locked with opportunists trying door handles as they walk past. Also work vehicles being targeted for tools etc. The thefts are happening at all times of night and day.  

Please make sure to secure your vehicles, remove anything valuable and do not leave anything on display.
