Heatwave Warning – Swansea ☀️

With temperatures expected to rise significantly across Swansea this week, please take extra care to stay safe in the hot weather ☀️ 

Remember to:


•Drink plenty of water throughout the day


•Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest hours (11am–3pm)


•Wear sunscreen, a hat and light clothing when outdoors


•Never leave children, vulnerable adults or pets in vehicles


•Check in on elderly relatives, neighbours and those who may need extra support


•Take extra care around rivers, lakes and the coast, as cold water shock can still occur despite the warm weather (ITVX)
