Police incident Park Road, Barry – Update

Two males have been arrested following an incident in Park Road, Barry, at around 10.30pm last night (Monday, April 13).

There were reports that a person had been assaulted. However, no victim has come forward nor been identified.

Checks have been made with local hospitals and further enquiries are on-going.

An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody.

They were arrested in the Roath area of Cardiff around 11pm last night and a car has been seized.

Several items have also been recovered from the scene for forensic examination.

A police cordon remains in place while the investigation continues.
