Good Afternoon,
South Wales Police have been investigating of a spate of vehicle crime in the Treharris area, particularly Windsor Road, which occurred overnight 02/04/2026.
As part of the response to the incidents, your local neighbourhood team are urging all residents to take action to protect your vehicles and help prevent yourself from becoming a victim of this type of crime.
With most vehicle crime being opportunistic, following the simple steps below could prevent this happening to you.
On leaving your vehicle:
Where possible, consider additional physical security such as steering locks and immobilisers.
If you see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle, please report this to South Wales Police straight away.
If you are experiencing any problems in your area, or have any concerns about it, or other community safety issues, you should contact your local council or report this to us online. In an emergency, if you or your property are at risk, or a crime is in progress call 999.
