Op Atal - Speed Enforcement Operation

Hello Residents,

I would like to provide you with an update following a speed enforcement operation I carried out this afternoon on Bryn Road as part of Op Atal. 

During the operation, a total of 16 vehicles were monitored, with 14 drivers stopped for exceeding the speed limit. 

One male was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, providing a roadside breath test reading of 92. In addition, one vehicle was seized for having no valid insurance. 

Drivers who were stopped were given appropriate advice and were asked to watch a short educational video delivered in partnership with the fire service, highlighting the dangers and consequences of unsafe driving. 

These operations are part of my continued commitment to improving road safety and protecting our community.
