Vehicle Theft

Dear resident,

We have identified a rise in Vehicle Thefts within the Port Tennant area.

Your local officers will be conducting high visibility patrols in the area to provide reassurance to residents.

It is encouraged that car owners:

Make sure their vehicles are locked and all windows shut when exiting.

Ensure no valuable items are left within the vehicle.

Try and park in a well lit area.

Install an alarm system where possible

Visible deterrents such as steering wheel locks are also useful

CCTV covering your vehicle can deter theft or provide evidence if required.

Please be vigilant!

Report any incidents to 101 / via the online reporting tool / 999 in an emergency.
