Operation Cimmeron has been established to deal with shoplifting, theft, and handling in all retail stores within the Llanishen sector. The campaign will cover all local areas such as Llanishen, Heath, Cyncoed, Lisvane, Thornhill, and Rhiwbina.
Our aim is to have a greater presence in all retail stores, patrolling at key times and dates as we approach the busy Christmas period. We want to be accessible to the public as well as provide reassurance through targeted patrols and engagement, and to prevent any potential theft.
If you see anyone shop lifting or behaving suspiciously in your local area or retail stores, please do not hesitate to call South Wales Police on 999/101.
