Stolen Vehicle Located

Whilst on foot patrol on De Burgh Street, Riverside, PCSOs noticed a damaged vehicle. Following checks, it was confirmed the vehicle was stolen last night. The owner has been informed and the vehicle has been recovered for forensic examination. CCTV enquires show the vehicle arrived sometime between 00:03 and 01:03 this morning. Lock your vehicle

Keep the keys safe - keep away from the front door, keep keyless fobs away from the vehicle and if possible in a screened or signal blocking pouch

Park responsibly - avoid parking in dark secluded areas.

Fit in-car security locks

Double check electronic locking

Close windows and sunroof

Secure your number plate with tamper-resitant screws and fit locking wheel nuts to secure alloy wheels

Secure anything that is fitted to the roof rack or tail gate, such as tent boxes and bikes

Take any items with you or hide them from view
