HALLOWEEN - IT'S NOT FUN FOR EVERYONE

Hello resident,

With Halloween around the corner, your local Neighbourhood Policing Team want to remind everyone that Halloween is not always fun for everyone.

Whilst we encourage celebrating and having fun with friends and family at this time of year, we also want to ensure our communities stay safe and anti-social behaviour is prevented.

REMEMBER…

STRANGER DANGER - When out and about trick or treating, please only call at known addresses with an appropriate adult.

PLAN YOUR ROUTE - Stick to a planned route which is familiar to you.

NO CALLERS PLEASE - Do not knock doors of properties where it is clearly stated they do not want any spooky visitors.

STAY TOGETHER - Stay with other friends/family members to ensure no one gets lost when trick or treating.

BE VISIBLE - Carry a torch or wear reflective clothing to ensure safety when walking roadside.

STOP, DROP AND ROLL - In the case that a costume catches fire, make sure you STOP, DROP and ROLL.
