We have been working hard in Cardiff City Centre targeting Shoplifting.

Recently officers have identified an individual responsible for multiple shoplifts within Cardiff Central. This individual has been arrested, charged and remanded to court by Police. Shuhel Ansari, 42, has plead guilty to these offences and has been sentenced to 5 months in prison. Police are applying for a Criminal Behaviour Order to prevent further offences. 

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.

Rydym wedi bod yn gweithio'n galed yng Nghaerdydd Canolog yn targedu lladrad o siopiau. 

Yn ddiweddar mae swyddogion wedi nodi unigolyn sy'n gyfrifol am nifer o siopladradau yng Nghanolfan Caerdydd. Mae'r unigolyn hwn wedi cael ei arestio, ei gyhuddo a'i gadw yn y llys gan yr Heddlu. Mae Shuhel Ansari, 42, wedi pledio'n euog i'r troseddau hyn ac wedi cael ei ddedfrydu i 5 mis yn y garchar. Mae'r heddlu'n gwneud cais am Orchymyn Ymddygiad Troseddol i atal troseddau pellach.
