Local Priorities Personal theft Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Personal theft, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We are aware of an increase in parcel thefts in the Uplands area, where parcels left on doorsteps or in unsecured locations are being stolen shortly after delivery.

Officers are actively investigating these incidents and conducting patrols in the area.

To help protect your deliveries, please consider the following advice:

Arrange for parcels to be delivered when you’re home, or to a trusted neighbour
Use in-store collection or secure parcel lockers where available
Request deliveries to be placed in a safe, hidden area – not in plain sight
Install video doorbells or security cameras if possible
Report any suspicious activity immediately
If you have any information, CCTV, or video doorbell footage that may assist our investigation, please contact us via 📞 101.

Let’s work together to keep our community safe.
