We have been working hard in Tonyrefail and Gilfach Goch targeting the matter of shoplifting in the community.

Recently officers have arrested a male in relation to numerous shoplifting and theft incidents in the Tonyrefail and Gilfach Goch areas. 

The male in question was also prosecuted for a breach of criminal behaviour order.

He has been remanded in custody for a period of 16 weeks. 

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
