Driving with No Insurance

Penlan NPT have today ceased a vehicle which has been driving around the area with no insurance for a number of days. 

Section 165A - Seizure of Vehicles.

Police can seize a vehicle under section 165A if the vehicle is not insured for use on the road. In such cases the vehicle can be seized on the spot, impounded, and released only after the driver provides proof insurance, licence and pays recovery/storage fees.
