Crime prevention message

Hello resident,

Please note we have identified a rise in VEHICLE CRIME across ST THOMAS/PORT TENNANT/SA1.

Your local PCSOs have been out and about raising awareness of Vehicle Crime within the area and conducting enquiries following reports made.

Please remember to do the following:

  • LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE LOCKED AT ALL TIMES
  • MAKE SURE ALL WINDOWS ARE CLOSED PRIOR TO EXITING
  • DO NOT LEAVE ANY PERSONAL BELONGINGS WITHIN YOUR VEHICLE
  • MAKE SURE ANY SECURITY DEVICES E.G ALARMS ARE ACTIVATED
  • WHERE POSSIBLE LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE IN A WELL LIT AREA
  • REMOVE IT, LOCK IT, DON'T LOSE IT!

REMEMBER… It only takes 10 seconds to break into a car.
