Motobike / Scooter thefts

Good Morning residents / Pawb, 

Recently we have recovered several scooter type motorbikes that have been sadly stolen and dumped locally.

This crime appears to be on the increase.

Please ensure that your bike is secure, parked in a well lit location, preferably in a garage, covered, or away from the road, where thieves may “shop”  for a particular bike or model.

Use a disc lock to help secure the front brake disc, or a grip lock to secure the brake and throttle controls.

If your bike is stolen, Never put yourself at risk.

Call the police immediately, if you see your bike being stolen.

Report a crime online or ring 101, if you discover it has gone.
