Off Road Vehicles

Taff Neighbourhood Policing Team 1 are conducting operations this week to address the anti-social usage of off road vehicles across Pontyclun, Llanharry, Llanharan, Treforest, Graig and Cilfynydd. 

Police officers and police community support officers have been using 4x4-capable vehicles to patrol hard-to-reach areas of our communities, so that we can increase our reach when targeting offenders who use off road vehicles to commit anti-social behaviour and other criminality. 

Your neighbourhood policing team have been paying visits to key stakeholders within our communities, such as those who own semi-rural and rural properties, equestrian partners and agricultural partners, with the view to providing reassurance and visibility. 

Concerns regarding off road vehicles can be reported via 101 or South Wales Police's online reporting form in the case of a non-emergency, or via 999 in the case of an emergency. The anti-social/criminal use of off road vehicles can negatively impact our communities and the places YOU live, and South Wales Police will engage with this issue robustly to keep our communities safe.
