This afternoon saw a male driver arrested by our traffic department, following a collision in the Pyle area. The driver managed to topple his vehicle onto its roof, before clambering free and being secured by passing motorists and members of the public. On arrival, our traffic colleagues arrested the male who was conveyed to Bridgend custody suite. His car, now written off, was also seized and removed. 

Would just like to thank those who did stop to assist with the incident prior to the arrival of ourselves and other emergency services. You have helped us removed a dangerous, drunk driver off the roads. I would also like to thank those of you who were diverted around the block due to the collision.
