In response to recent retail thefts in Cardiff City Centre, officers conducted targeted patrols to locate wanted persons in and around the City Centre. The targeted patrols have resulted in several arrest this month, most of which involved the arrest of prolific shoplifters.

Targeted patrols will continue in the City Centre to ensure that any wanted persons are located and brought to justice.

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.

Mewn ymateb i ladradau manwerthu diweddar yng Nghanol y Ddinas, cynhaliodd swyddogion batrolau wedi'u targedu tuag at ddod o hyd i bobl sydd eisiau. Arweiniodd hyn at sawl arestiad ers dechrau y mis er mwyn lleihau troseddi yng Nghanol y Ddinas.

Bydd patrolau wedi'u targedu yn cael eu cynnal yn rheolaidd yng Nghanol y Ddinas i sicrhau bod unrhyw bobl a geiriwyd yn cael eu lleoli a'u dwyn i gyfiawnder.
