You Said, We did - ASBBILINGUAL MESSAGE / NEGES DWYIEITHOG Thank you for responding to our survey.
We are working hard to tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB) in Newbridge Playing Fields
Following reports of ASB within these areas we have increased the footpatrols in the area to counter these issues. As a result of the increased foot patrols I have been conducting over the Easter holidays and in the recent hot weather period, we have had success in stop searches that have lead to Positive results around the smoking of Cannabis in and around the rural areas of the playing Fields.
Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
Anti-social behaviour covers a wide range of unacceptable activity that causes harm to an individual, to their community or to their environment. This could be an action by someone else that leaves you feeling alarmed, harassed, or distressed. It also includes fear of crime or concern for public safety, public disorder, or public nuisance.
If you are experiencing problems with anti-social behaviour, or have any concerns about it, or other community safety issues, you should contact your local council or report this to us online. In an emergency, if you or your property are at risk, or a crime is in progress call 999. Do you need to speak to the police but don’t require an emergency response? You can make an online report via our website https://www.south-wales.police.uk, send us a private message via Live Chat, or call 101. In an emergency always dial 999.
