Hello All, 

The Arson attack on Bethany Square on Station Road, Port Talbot,  Two persons have been arrested and are currently in police custody. 

I am arranging community safety fire arson reduction team to attend local schools to present the dangers and the crime around lighting fires, due to the increase with fires the last few weeks. 

This is not a lesson to scare children, however hopefully they know the impact and the dangers this can cause, and the impact it has on people, properties and wildlife. 

The two persons involved are very lucky to get out alive with no injuries. 

This is an ongoing police investigation, statement will be shared on social media.
