We have received several reports of vehicle obstruction along Gower Road.

These vehicles were parked on a public walkway, totally blocking all access to pedestrians, making them walk onto a very busy road.

Not only does this endanger the pedestrians, but also pram or pushchair users, or people with disabilities.

This location is at the entrance to the new Hendrefoilen estate, by a very busy roundabout, causing further concern, due to Olchfa school pupils, needing access to walk home safely.

I have appropriately advised the owner of these vehicles and they have been removed.

I have also patrolled the length of Gower Road today, issuing further “Warning” tickets as many pavements were obstructed.
