It has come to the attention of South Wales Police that there have been a small number of recent incidents where people in the local community have had bank accounts / credit cards opened in their name without their knowledge.
Can residents please check their financial records to ensure you have not been subject to any potentially fraudulent activity? Should you receive any unsolicited financial documentation suggesting some form of account has been fraudulently open in your name please contact the financial provider in question / your bank immediately and also report the matter to Action Fraud.
