You said...We Did

Dear resident,

After concerns were raised about the speed at which cars are travelling through St Fagans, we have recently conducted several speed scoping exercises at various places throughout the village. The results of these exercises have been fed back to St Fagans Community Council. Every speeding vehicle we identified during this exercise will be receiving a warning letter from our ‘GoSafe’ team about their manner of driving.

As your Neighbourhood Policing Team, we will continue to carry out ad-hoc speed scoping exercises, patrol regularly through the village and take positive action against any vehicles that are parked dangerously or blocking pavements. We are in regular contact with staff from St Fagans Museum of Welsh Life and will continue to communicate with them in relation to events where an overflow of cars might affect the amount of traffic parking in the village.

If any residents witness and video any driving offences, such as using a mobile phone at the wheel, you can report it online by following this link… Operation SNAP

We will continue to work with partners to try and tackle the road safety issues that have been brought to our attention.

Kind Regards

St Fagans (and Pentyrch) Neighbourhood Policing Team
