Morning all. Hope you are well.
Just thought I would share some good news, which followed on from excellent information received from you, the public. A week or so ago, information was received to us anonymously that an individual in the Cornelly area was driving a vehicle without any documents to do so. The information was then processed, for our attention.
As a result of this, on the evening of 28/3/25, whilst on patrol of the Pyle area, PCSO Couch has caught the male driving in to get fuel! Unlucky for the driver, there was also a Traffic officer on patrol in the same area by chance and a short time later, both officers had detained the male in the back of the Traffic car. The male was subsequently arrested for driving without a licence or insurance, possessing a quantity of drugs and failing a roadside drug-swipe. His vehicle was also seized.
A great result, ‘’fuelled'' only by excellent and spot on information received from an alert local. Your assistance is vital in helping us pro-actively target road traffic offenders in your area in an effort to make our roads safer. Please, keep it up. Illegal drivers will not be tolerated and are actively sought out, dealt with and prosecuted accordingly to the highest possible degree of the law.
Thank you very much for your information. Like I said, it is vital in helping us police your community. If you have any information relating to anybody driving without documents, whilst banned or perhaps whilst drunk or drug impaired, please report it to us via 101, 999 or make me aware on 07805 301506.
Spread this message far and wide to your friends, neighbours, family and colleagues. Let's work together in making our roads safer.
Thank you.
