We are receiving many calls in relation to door-to-door salesmen commonly known as 

“Nottingham Knockers ” or “Duster Seller” because they carry large bags full of cleaning products.

The sellers claim to be ex-convicts or part of a probation scheme.

they may show you I.D which could possibly be fake.

*Do not answer the door to anyone you do not know or are not expecting.

*Do not purchase anything and never hand cash on your doorstep

* If you feel threatened, close the door and contact the police

* If you are threatened or treated aggressively on the doorstep, dial 999 for an emergency response.
