Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up their dog mess. This includes carrying a bag or scoop to pick it up the mess and disposing of it in a litter bin. 

How to clean up after your dog;

* Carry a plastic bag or poop scoop

* Use a plastic bag to put the mess in

* Dispose of the bag in a litter bin, dog poop bin or take it home to be disposed of

* Don't hang poo bags on tree branches

Other Tips;

* Toilet train your dog

* If you have a garden , encourage your dog to use it

* Keep your dog under effective control

* Keep your dog on a lead

* Don't let your dog disturb other people 

* Don't let your dog chase or disturb wildlife, livestock and other dogs

* Ensure your dog has a collar and identity tag with your contact details

* Ideally have your dog micro-chipped

*Regularly worm your dog.
