Good afternoon residents,

     Councillor Tribe has been in contact recently raising concerns from residents living on both Clos yr efail and Rhydypandy road. 

Cllr Tribe has raised concerns regarding drivers parking on the yellow lines within Clos yr efail.  The matter has been flagged up with the council parking enforcement officers and their attendance at the location has been requested.

The double yellow lines have kerb markings and are therefore not suitable for those with disability badges as well as those without.

Please refrain from parking on the lines which are on the bend and have been laid at this location to avoid any dangerous situations. 

The second matter raised was that residents perceive that drivers are travelling past the row of houses on Rhydypandy road, near to the junction with Myndydd Gelli wastad road in excess of the 20mph speed limit.

I have previously attended to carry out speed scoping exercises but following further complaints the attendance of the GoSafe van has been requested. 

Please be mindful that the speed limit at this location jumps from National speed limit to 20mph.

     Mae Cynghorydd Tribe wedi bod mewn cysylltiad ynglun a materion codwyd gan preswylwyr Clos yr efail a Rhydypandy road.

Mae Cynghorydd Tribe wedi clywed oddi wrth preswylwyr fod gyrrwyr yn parcio ar y llinellau melyn ar Clos yr efail.  Mae hwn wedi'i gael i cyfeirio at swyddogion parcio y cyngor.

Mae'r llinellau dwbwl melyn gyda marciau ar y cwrbyn felli nad ydy yn addas i pobl gyda neu heb bathodyn anabl parcio ar y llinellau. Mae'r llinellau wedi'i peintio ar y tro er mwyn cadw yr ardal yn saff. 

Yr ail mater codwyd yw bod preswylwyr yn credi fod cerbydau yn gyrru ar Rhydypandy road, heibio y tai yn agos i Myndydd gellli wastad road mwy na 20 milltir yr awr.

Rydwf wedi gwneud arolwg a rydwyf wedi gofun i GoSafe mynhyrchu.

Byddwch yn ymwybodol fod y terfyn cyflymder yr heol yn newid yn gyflum yn y man yma o 60 milltir yr awr i 20 milltir yr awr.
