Our Maesteg Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted an off-road bike operation yesterday alongside Rhondda and Port Talbot Neighbourhood Policing Team as well as National Resources Wales (NRW). 

Maesteg managed to speak with two individuals and give out two Section 59 warnings for driving on land that was not part of a road. 

A section 59 warning is issued when vehicles are found to have been used in an anti-social manner. These warnings last 12 months, if the driver is caught again within 12 months, officers can seize the vehicle.
