Please note we have been informed of incidents in the Aberdare area, specifically Ynysllwyd Street and surrounding streets, whereby fake Fixed Penalty Notices have been placed on vehicles parked at these locations. It has become apparent that a person is falsely claiming to work for the Local Authority and is issuing fake parking tickets to vehicles under the offence of parking in permit holders only zones. However, these vehicles have not been parked in a manner in which an offence is being committed. 

We ask that you remain vigilant, and if you suspect that you have been issued with a false ticket, to contact the Local Authority to confirm if this is the case. Please note that all legitimate FPNs issued by Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council will display the Council logo. 

We also politely ask that you continue to park considerately and within the parking restrictions in place.
