You may notice an increased police presence around the Marina / LC area this afternoon. This is to facilitate a peaceful event taking place at the amphitheatre.

There is no cause for alarm and no additional risk to members of the public. Please stop and chat with our officers if you are out and about.

There is also a similar event being held in Castle Square and that area will also have an increased police presence.
