You Said, We did - Fire Report

Hello Residents  

Recently, we have received complaints of a fire burning and smoking throughout the day and being left unattended, 

near the cycle path in Dunvant.

This was causing some problems for nearby residents and posed a risk of spreading, due to a dilapidated garage in close

proximity.

The “Grass and Heather Burning Code”  specifies specific seasons and safety regulations for burning outdoors, such as never burn household rubbish, plastics, treated wood or anything containing chemicals as this is considered illegal and harmful to the environment.

On this occasion the Fire service were called and extinguished the fire.

The Arson Reduction Team have been advised.

Patrols will continue at the location to prevent further incident.
