You are probably aware that there have been several incidents reported in Gower,  Penclawdd and surrounding areas over the last few weeks. We have had several reports of suspicious males entering driveways, theft from motor vehicles, theft of motor vehicles, shed breaks and Burglaries. Please be aware that these crimes are not solely occurring in Penclawdd , this is across Swansea, surrounding areas, Cardiff and Dyfed Powys.

On a previous message i mentioned that “ Officers are working tirelessly to apprehend those that are responsible” .On a positive note several arrests have been made in relation to a burglary which occurred in the Three Crosses area where two vehicles were stolen. 

Please do not leave any unattended vehicles insecure, ensure all doors and windows are locked , engage all alarms , steering devices etc. Please help us help you from becoming an unnecessary victim of crime by making it difficult for thieves to target your vehicles , property and belongings.

If you have been or do become a victim of crime, we cannot emphasise enough the importance of reporting incidents to the Police at the very earliest opportunity. Can we also ask that if you have any information in relation to recent incidents, CCTV etc. please call 101 or 999 in any emergency.
