We have recruited JRSO's Year 6 Llangewydd Junior School 

Having been made aware of dangerous and lazy parking in and around the school on Heol-Y-Frenhines at school pick up time, the Head Teacher Mrs Green and myself have created a regular patrol with the pupils in Year 6 to educate parents and highlight those parked dangerously.  They are called JRSO's Junior Road Safety Officers.  The children patrol in high-vis vests with local PCSO and a Teacher to look for vehicles causing issues and parking illegally. 

This is run twice a month due to commitments and it proving to be very a successful tool to raise awareness of inappropriate parking outside school gates.
