Please see the below feedback of an overview of incidents reported between the 06/11/2024 and the 18/01/2025.
Anti-social behaviour
No reports.
Drugs
Person driving vehicle whilst under the influence of drugs – Vehicle seized by officers and driver arrested and charged to attend court.
Damage/Road related
1 Operation snap reports reported to Go Safe for driving without due care and attention – Warning letters issued.
Person driving a vehicle whilst disqualified – Vehicle seized by officers and driver arrested and charged to attend court.
Person driving without a driving licence - Vehicle seized by officers and driver arrested and charged to attend court.
Driving whilst under the influence of alcohol - Driver arrested and charged to attend court.
Theft
1 Theft from Aldi, Upper Boat – No person Id unfortunately.
1 Theft from Farmfoods – No person Id unfortunately.
1 Theft from Tesco – under investigation.
1 One Beyond – No person ID.
1 theft from Iceland – Investigated but no persons ID.
Speeding
The cameras on Cardiff Road Hawthorn are live 24HRS a day and is a 20mph speed zone.
On the back of community concerns and working in close partnership with GO SAFE, further speed measurements will be continuing Williams’s place, Upper Boat.
The speed bike is continuing to attend William’s place on an ad hoc basis.
Again on the back of community concerns two speed scoping operations have been carried out on Fairfield Lane, Hawthorn on the below dates with the below result's.
12/11/2024 - A speed scoping exercise was carried out between the hours of 14:30hrs to 15:40hrs and the average speed captured was 21MPH out of 55 vehicles.
2 vehicles were captured travelling at a speed of 29MPH and 4 vehicles captured travelling at 27MPH
16/12/2024 - A speed scoping exercise was carried out between the hours of 8:30hrs to 9:30hrs and the average speed captured was 21MPH out of 55 vehicles.
3 vehicles were captured travelling at a speed of 28MPH and 1 vehicles captured travelling at 29MPH.
The speed limit for Fairfield Lane is currently 20MPH.

No reports.
