Info

Keep in the left lane unless overtaking. That's what the Highway Code says (rule 264 in case you wanted to look it up) – and when it's ignored we know the frustration it can cause other drivers. 🚘🚘🚘

For the safety of other motorists, and yourself, you should return to the left lane when it is safe to do so.

⚠️ Also, be aware of emergency services, traffic officers, recovery workers and other people or vehicles stopped on the hard shoulder or in an emergency area. If you're in the left lane, and it's safe to do so, you should move into the adjacent lane to create more space between your vehicle and the people and stopped vehicles.

Cadwch yn y lôn chwith oni bai eich bod yn goddiweddyd.  Dyna mae Rheolau'r Ffordd Fawr yn ei ddweud (rheol 264 rhag ofn eich bod am edrych arno) – a phan gaiff ei anwybyddu rydym yn gwybod y rhwystredigaeth y gall ei achosi i yrwyr eraill.  🚘🚘🚘

Er diogelwch modurwyr eraill, a chithau, dylech ddychwelyd i'r lôn chwith pan fydd yn ddiogel i chi wneud hynny.

⚠️ Hefyd, byddwch yn ymwybodol o’r gwasanaethau brys, swyddogion traffig, gweithwyr adfer a phobl neu gerbydau eraill sy’n cael eu stopio ar y llain galed neu mewn ardal argyfwng.  Os ydych yn y lôn chwith, a'i bod yn ddiogel i chi wneud hynny, dylech symud i'r lôn gyfagos i greu mwy o le rhwng eich cerbyd a'r bobl a cherbydau wedi'u stopio.
