Just as a reminder to everyone.

We know Christmas is fast approaching, and crime is on the rise. Please remember to lock all doors and windows, and don't forget to set any alarm system you may have.

Don’t leave anything of value on display where anyone can see it/them on display from the outside of your property. 

May I also remind you not to leave any keys next to the doors or windows. If you are driving a keyless entry vehicle, don't forget to purchase a signal blocker box or pouch to store all your keys in.

If you were considering installing a security light, replacing a light bulb, installing CCTV cameras, or simply installing a doorbell camera, now is the perfect time to act.

I also recommend checking your windows and doors from the outside for damage.

If you notice damage to your door or window and are sure it wasn't there the day before, call 101 immediately to report your findings.

I don’t want you to be paranoid, but I want you to be observant and vigilant and don’t take anything for granted.
