Operation Viscaria results. It has been a challenging week for T1 Viscaria. PC Pearson, Fritche and Davies have been working hard to bring shoplifters to justice.

 Here are just a weeks worth of results.

11 people arrested for a total of 36 offences

One subject received community service and court requirement to attend alcohol support due to being convicted for 4 theft from store offences in UPLANDS and PARC TAWE, SWANSEA

One subject received 18 weeks in prison for 3 theft from store offences covering UPLANDS and QUAY PARADE

One subject received 20 weeks in prison for a theft from store offence and previous theft offences covering QUAY PARADE, SWANSEA

One subject was charged to court for 6 theft from store offences covering offending in PARC TAWE, PORT TENNANT and UPLANDS, SWANSEA  

One subject was charged to court for 2 offences including theft from store PARC, TAWE and OXFORD STREET, SWANSEA

One subject was charged and remanded on conditional bail to attend court for 3 Theft from store offences in TREBOETH, SWANSEA

One subject received 6 months in prison for 7 offences including theft from store and public order in QUAY PARADE, WHITEWALLS and PARC TAWE, SWANSEA

One subject received 12 weeks in prison and further 12 weeks suspended for 12 months for theft from store and public order offences in QUAY PARADE, SWANSEA

One subject was charged and remanded on conditional bail to attend court 1 theft from store offence on OXFORD STREET, SWANSEA

One subject was bailed after being arrested for Child neglect in SWANSEA BUS STATION, currently being investigated by the child protection teams and social services.

One subject was charged and remanded on conditional bail to attend court for 6 theft from store offences in PARC TAWE, PORT TENNANT and UPLANDS, SWANSEA .

Officers from this specific operation continue to workhard towards bringing those committing offences to justice.
