BILINGUAL MESSAGE / NEGES DWYIEITHOG

Hello Resident

Thank you for responding to our survey.

We have been working hard in Tontine street due to two recent burglaries within the area.

Recently officers have arrested two persons in connection with the burglary and will continue high visibility patrols within the area.

You live in one of the safest areas in South Wales Police. However, you can do things which will help you avoid being a victim of crime and help us keep South Wales Safe.

Keep all valuable property out of sight.

Ensure lighting around the property is working.

Ensure gates, sheds and garden fences are secure.

Place identifying marks on all valuable property (Post code).

Secure windows and doors; leave them locked when you are not at home.

Activate your house or shed alarm.

Fit additional security measures.

Ensure your home insurance is up to date.

Please also see attached a home security checklist that may help assist you in safe guarding your home and valuables.

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.

Do you need to speak to the police but don’t require an emergency response?

You can make an online report via our website https://www.south-wales.police.uk, send us a private message via Live Chat, or call 101. In an emergency always dial 999.
