Important Community Update: Reports of Youth-Related Property Damage

Dear St Thomas and Port Tennant Residents,

We have received several recent reports across South Wales, including here in our community, regarding incidents where youths have thrown eggs and caused damage to properties, cars, and homes. We understand how disruptive and concerning this can be, and we want to support you in keeping your property secure.

To help protect your property, please consider the following measures:

CCTV: Installing or maintaining CCTV can help deter anti-social behaviour and provide useful evidence if needed.

Securing Vehicles: Ensure car doors are locked and valuables are kept out of sight.

Home Security: Double-check that windows and doors are locked, and consider motion-sensitive lighting to improve security around your property.

If you witness or experience any incidents, please report them directly to us by calling 101. Your reports are invaluable for helping us respond effectively and address these issues within our community.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping St Thomas and Port Tennant safe.

Kind regards,

Matt Davies
