Cathays - Bike Marking (Robbery Intensification Week) : Thu 21 Nov 12:00

Dear Resident,

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team will be outside The Woodville Pub, Woodville Road, CF24 4DW on Thursday the 21st of November at 12:00 for a free bike marking event.

If you would like you to have your bike marked come along with your bike and we will mark and log your bike. All we need is the bike frame number, make, model and colour. The frame number can normally be found engraved on the frame beneath the bike. The registration takes no longer than 10 minutes and increases the chance of your bike being found and recovered if stolen.

Please take this opportunity to raise any concerns you may have and to find out what we are doing to tackle the issues that matter to you. Everyone is welcome and it would be great to see you there.

Bike Marking (Robbery Intensification Week)
Every Police Force in the UK uses the BikeRegister database to search for stolen & recovered bikes. Registering on BikeRegister means the likelihood of recovering your bike after it being stolen is higher. To reduce the chances of becoming a victim of cycle theft, we suggest all bike owners register. The registration is free and takes no longer than 10 minutes.
When & Where is it?
