Positive ActionBILINGUAL MESSAGE / NEGES DWYIEITHOG Hello Resident
South Wales Police are committed to relentlessly pursuing those who deal drugs in our community. Over recent weeks, there has been a rise in reports of drug activity at a specific address in Adamsdown causing concern to the local community.
Early on Friday evening the 18th October 2024, police officers attended at an address on Planet Street. Over £5,000 worth of drugs were recovered from this address and two persons were arrested. One person has been charged and remanded into the care of the courts.
This was an excellent result and some members of the local community have already thanked us for taking action.
We will not tolerate those who deal drugs and prey on the vulnerable in our communities. It causes harm and our community is blighted by the anti social behaviour and criminality that it brings.
If you have any information that could support future action against drugs supply in your area, please let us know. Your information will be treated in the strictest confidence.
Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime and make Adamsdown, Splott and Tremorfa a better place.
Do you need to speak to the police but don’t require an emergency response? You can make an online report via our website https://www.south-wales.police.uk, send us a private message via Live Chat, or call 101. In an emergency always dial 999.
